Is there a minimum membership contract length?

• There are no long-term contracts; you can cancel at any time provided you give us notice period.

How can I pay for my membership?

• Your first payment will be pro-rata, meaning it will be adjusted to cover only the remaining days of the current month. For example, if you join halfway through the month, you’ll pay only for that portion. Subsequent payments are then taken via direct debit on the 1st of each month.

• There is only one membership available for kids’ classes. There is no reduced rate if you only attend once a week.

What if I am late with my payment?

• Should you fail to notify us of a freeze or cancellation request within the below-outlined notice periods, and fail to pay your membership fees by the 5th of each month, your membership will be cancelled and you will not be welcome to train at Grange Jiu Jitsu until the outstanding fees are settled.

I cannot train for a period of time. How can I freeze my membership?

• If you have a long-term injury and you cannot train, please provide medical evidence so we can freeze your membership accordingly.
• If you are going to be away for 1-3 months (E.g. Holiday/Work/Family commitments), we require a 1 month notice to freeze.
• Requests are to be sent in writing via email to info@ealingbjj.com.
• If your membership is not reactivated within the 3 month period, your membership will be cancelled and you will need to pay a sign-up fee if you’d like to re-join.

I was busy at work for the first 2 weeks of the month so I couldn’t train, can you discount me for the next month?

• No. We cannot backdate on any missed training occured that is out of our control. 

Can I freeze my membership for 2-weeks as I am going on holiday so I won’t be able to train?

• No 1-3 week freezes are not possible.  We can only provide minimum 1 month freezes in advance. The same situation occurs when you pay your rent/mortgage each month. You wouldn’t be able to do it.

How can I cancel my membership?

• We require a minimum 1 month cancellation notice.
• Requests are to be sent in writing via email to info@ealingbjj.com 
• Please note, should you cancel your membership and re-join at a later date, you will have to pay a joining fee.
